New Features
Added a ‘What’s New' notification to show what has changed with our latest updated - previously users were not alerted to the fact that there were changes deployed into the system or what the changes were. We have added a new notification in PaySauce that will open and show a summary of updates when the user logs into payroll after an update, it will only show once. Users can read the summarised notes, click read the full details (this article) or go to our updates page to see all updates.
Improvements
We have added a new screen for small screen resolutions - As our site is not responsive, we have added a new screen to encouraging users to download our mobile app.
Resolved an End of month billing configuration error - after a pay had been run for a particular month and PaySauce fees charged, a subsequent period in the month could cause an error if the payment date was changed to the following month.
Resolved a termination calculation error when pro rating - There were certain conditions when leave was taken in the final pay before termination, which meant the pro-rata calculation was incorrect.
Added a remove option to Employee setup workflow - When an employee setup was not completed, there was no way to remove the employee setup task from the workflow. There is now an 'x' button that allows employers to remove the workflow task. The symbol to ‘re-enter’ details has also been improved to describe the action.
Remove the risk of user making double payments with Akahu - From time to time when Akahu payments take longer to process, the user can set off a secondary payment process. We have added some restrictions to stop this from happening.
Removed the Documents tab for Employees - The documents tab was confusing customers as it is an unfinished feature, we have hidden this tab so it will only appear to admin users for now.

We fixed a small spelling error on the security notification check for AML
We fixed an issue where branding changes were not able to be uploaded on a windows machine.
Fixed an error to prevent users accidentally setting the calculation rule set to a different region than NZ.
We fixed a bug where the wrong leave rate was returned for customers navigating to a payrun from the workflow links.
