Improvements

In the sign up process, we have updated the selection options for paying PAYE to IRD - Employers are required to select whether they pay PAYE to the IRD (used to be the IR345) once or twice a month (the employer would have received a letter from IRD if they need to pay twice), which PaySauce does on their behalf. To prevent confusion we have made the options more specific so that new users to PaySauce are more likely to sign up for the correct option.

Updated Terms and Conditions - We have updated one of our terms and conditions to be clearer for new PaySauce sign ups. This is one of four terms and conditions all users must agree to and will apply to all new and existing users. It now reads: I am authorised to act on behalf of The Employer to give PaySauce authority to direct debit money from the bank account provided (refer to clause 7. Authority to Direct Debit).

Updates to non taxable payments and deductions - Previously there was no indication of whether a payment was non taxable on payslips. We now identify these with ‘NonTx’ in the payment name.

(Internal) We improved our Admin tools to help manage bureaus for our support team - This will allow PaySauce agents to be linked with bureau’s using specific user permissions. This improves how we continue to support our users.

Bug Smash

  • We fixed a bug where lump sum payments were not being included in year to date totals on payslips.

  • We fixed a bug where pay’s processed and closed over a day boundary were erroring.

  • We fixed a bug where downloading reports with large URL's were crashing.
