Different roles that exist in PaySauce and how user permissions work with different roles

Role types

Here is an overview of role types available in PaySauce.

For information on setting up manager or team leader accounts with access to specific employees only, please contact PaySauce Support.

Employer

An employer user type gives access to the company account, all employees and all information.

Manager

A manager user essentially has 'employer' access but can be limited to a group of employees. They can see pay information about the employees they have access to.

Teamleader

A team leader user type is similar to a manager user in that they can have access to a limited group of employees, but cannot see pay related information. The team leader role is typically used to approve timesheets and leave requests without seeing pay rates.

Reception

A reception user can only see the list of employees in the company, the employees contact information and the leave calendar.

Employee

Can only access their own employee details.
